7. Trek to Sarangkot

Sarangkot is about 30 minutes away in a car from the city area. Once you reach there, you will understand why it is a true testament to peace. By walking you can reach there in about 2 hours and a half. Many tourists do this as a day hike. It is at an altitude of 1600m and you can observe sports activities at a distance. It is an initiative of Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) to preserve the records and evidence of the climbers. The museum also documents human activities and keeps records of the geographics flora and fauna.

Other museums such as Pokhara Regional Museum, Annapurna Natural History Museum, Gurkha Museum are also worth giving a visit.

9. Visit Lakes and Caves
