Pokhara is the second busiest tourist hub of Nepal. It is popular as the adventure spot of Nepal. The city is all about daring escapade.
If you are going to Pokhara - you will need more days to spare, because Pokhara is 7-8 hours in Bus and 30 minutes max by flight from Kathmandu.

# Lumbini
Many tourists, after trekking to the Himalayas of Annapurna Region (starts from Pokhara), take the route of Lumbini to finish their journey.
One of the reason is, Lumbini is the birthplace of the Lord Buddha. This spot is popular for meditation, yoga, or any of your spiritual needs.
You can either go directly to Lumbini from Kathmandu and return or take another route through Pokhara and then return, because Kathmandu and Pokhara are very near.
